Returns & Refunds

We hope you’ll enjoy the wines you buy from us but if you tell us that an item was faulty we’re happy to accept returns within 30 days of your purchase date for either a full refund, exchange for an item of equal value, or store credit. Please note that refund requests must be made by emailing us a photo of the faulty item to hello@adamthwaiteswines.co.uk within 7 days of delivery.

  • What’s eligible for return: All of our wines are returnable, however you will only be refunded if the wine is faulty, we do not accept refunds for disliked wine.

  • Acceptable return condition: We will only accept returned items in their original packaging, clean and undamaged (opened wines must have their cork securely replaced).

  • How to make a return: Simply, email us (hello@adamthwaiteswines.co.uk) with your order number and a photo of the faulty item. Then repackage your item and wait for a confirmation email with further instructions from us.

  • Return shipping costs: We’ll help you process your return by arranging for a collection of your purchased items (the courier’s collection fee will be deducted from your refundable amount). Alternatively we can arrange for you to return the items for free in person to our warehouse reception team (Sure Store, Eastern Ave, Lichfield WS13 6UY) during their business hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm or Sat 9am-3pm).

  • Return deadlines: Refund requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. Then items must be returned within 30 days of your purchase date. Items after the 30-day return period are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

  • Refund processing time: Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for processing. If your return is accepted, please allow 3-5 business days for a refund to appear on your original method of payment.

  • Refund policy: We reserve the right to choose the type of refund we offer:

    • Full refunds: You’ll receive all of your money back from a purchased good or service.

    • Partial refunds: You’ll receive a portion of your funds back, such as 50% or the purchase price minus shipping or restocking fees.

    • Credit refunds: You’ll receive store credit equal to the value of your purchase, to be used in our store. This can be in the form of a gift card or voucher code.

    • Exchange: You’ll receive an exchange for a similar item of equal or more value.

    • Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel any orders we cannot fulfil for any reason. If your order is cancelled we will contact you to explain why and refund any money you have paid us for that order.
